Groove

Developed during the 10-week Offsite by Advanced Design industrial design program, Spotify Groove explores how digital platforms can extend into physical products. The project reimagines Spotify’s digital music experience through a contemporary reinterpretation of the record player. Inspired by Spotify’s interface language, the design merges tactile interaction with digital connectivity, creating an object that blends physical controls with streaming technology to expand the brand’s identity beyond the screen.

The project served as the final capstone for the program, applying design for manufacturing, business strategy, ideation sketching, and rendering techniques. Spotify Groove demonstrates how digital services can be translated into branded physical experiences that maintain the company’s core identity while introducing new forms of interaction.
